Buying from Argento Acres

In the 2025 season, I am at two Farmers Markets:

Benton Harbor Farmers Market in Benton Harbor, MI

$400 for June 30^th-October 27th

What is CSA? The CSA model is a way for customers to invest in local farms by paying in advance for fresh, local produce. Customers get a “share” of whatever is harvested each week. CSA’s often have on-farm events so customers can be more connected to where their food comes from.

Argento Acres is a small farm in Coloma, MI. I grow a variety of vegetables and fruit, as well as raise honeybees and poultry. While not certified organic, I focus on permaculture, sustainable and regenerative practices.

I am pleased to offer CSA shares starting Monday, June 30th. Pickup will be on the farm in Coloma, at the St. Joe’s Farmers Market, or the Benton Harbor Farmers Market. There will be Argento boxes weekly in July, August, September and October. There will be an end-of-season FALL FEAST in late October/early November with a farm tour, local foods from Argento Acres and other farms, live music and a bonfire for CSA members. Date tbd.

Pricing: Shares are $400 for the 2025 season. Payment can be made via Zelle, cash or credit/debit cards. Payment is due by June 25^th.

July: blueberries, salad mix, head lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower, tomatoes, peppers, garlic, onions, kale, beets, hakurei salad turnips, daikon radish, carrots, herbs

August: blueberries, broccoli, cauliflower, kale, cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, summer squash, green beans, garlic, onions, fingerling potatoes, herbs, cabbage, edible flowers, flower bouquets

September: salad mix, head lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower, kale, cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, summer squash, green beans, garlic, onions, fingerling potatoes, herbs, cabbage, edible flowers, winter squash/pumpkins, flower bouquets

October: salad mix, head lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, broccoli, cauliflower, kale, green beans, garlic, onions, herbs, cabbage, winter squash/pumpkins, ginger/turmeric, sweet potatoes, flower bouquets

Extras: From time to time, I may include items from other local farms that I do not grow. These items will always be labeled with info about the local farm it came from. CSA members picking up shares can add Argento Acres duck or chicken eggs at a discount.
